The gulets

Gulets for 10 to 18 people.

Where we sail

Still water, pine hills, a swim before breakfast — in Turkey.

An empty pebble cove with pines down to the water, in soft late-season light

When to go

September is our favourite month: quiet bays, a warm sea, softer heat.

One area a week: more time swimming at anchor, less time sailing.

Behind Kaya Gulets

We grew up around gulets on this coast and have worked in charter for twenty years.

A private gulet with its own crew: the captain sails and plans each day around the wind, the cook cooks, and the day is yours. It's a little like renting a villa that moves to a new bay each morning; by the second day the crew know how you take your coffee.
